Opening reception held for ‘Not Really’
Students and artists attended the opening of “Not Really”: Fictive Narratives in Contemporary Art in the Castle Gallery on Thursday, February 5.
The exhibit explores the illusory, fabricated and contrived nature of our mediated and digitalized contemporary world through video, sculptural and two-dimensional works.
A panel discussion by the College’s Art Department will explore the exhibit on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:45 p.m. in Romita Auditorium in the Mooney Center.
A free family day relating to the exhibit will be held Sunday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Castle Gallery. The exhibit runs through Sunday, April 19.
